ǝnígmǝ (エニグマ, Eniguma), otherwise known as the Mysterious Patterned-Hand Person (手型の怪人, Tegata no kaijin), is an alias adopted by an unknown individual who is the main antagonist of the series. It was implied that Yūta Kijima may be the true identity of ǝnígmǝ as he is revealed to be carrying the same handprint as the Mysterious Patterned-Hand Person on his right hand at times. However, it was eventually revealed that this was not the case, as ǝnígmǝ's handprint was on the back of his hand, whereas Kijima's was on the front.
